“Sense of Self” was my acknowledgement of an inner sense of being that just is, beyond all the judgements - whether self or externally-ascribed- to which I felt strongly attached. An exploration of the beauty in simply being alive.
Reflections on the vulnerability of creating art about the self:
The beautiful side effect of cultivating self love is acceptance of others and their critiques. The strange duality of life that while this feels like the MOST personal thing I could share- how others receive or interpret it is really not that personal.
